Residents’ Council
The Residents’ Council of Skovlyporten is a voluntary organization that acts as the connection between Skovlyporten’s board and its residents. Each year, they organize a variety of events for the residents and maintain the community’s website and Facebook group. Additionally, the council facilitates borrowing of garden tools from Skovlyporten’s communal tool program (temporarily paused due to lack of volunteers).
All residents are welcome to join the Residents’ Council. They can attend council meetings held every other Monday of the month or contact the council via email for more information. Official council meetings occur either at the general assembly (in autumn) or at resident meetings held as needed.
The Residents’ Council is also a great way to meet other residents of Skovlyporten. It is a social community while striving to enhance Skovlyporten for all residents. Social events, such as the annual “Tour de Råd” (Council Tour), are organized for enjoyment and bonding.
